SYNOPSIS: SOUTHWESTERLY WINDFLOW AND FRONTAL SYSTEM OVER LUZON AND WESTERN VISAYAS, MONSOON TROUGH (ITCZ) OVER VISAYAS AND MINDANAO.

Weak tropical disturbance 92W make landfall near Ilocos sur this afternoon and now dissipating over land. However its remnant will be steered back to water north of philippine sea which will likely to intensify as seen on latest vortices. Meanwhile, Tropical disturbance Alert 93W now consolidating rapidly but its convection reduced to Level2-3 however latest satellite imaging shows a tight wrapping circulation along LLCC which shows 93W showing intensification. Its convection limitation is due to moderate VWShear over the area, but the said shear will weakens slowly that will result to its deepening. high SST and good equatorial outflow and fair upper divergence will result for maintaining strenght of 93W.
For a while SW windflow continues to prevail as 92W and frontal system continues to influence the said system. Monsoon trough in the meantime weakens a bit but surely will intensify as 93W moves further away from equator. light-heavy scattered rain and thunderstorm expected to continue for most of the day and night this day becoming more visible to western Luzon and Southern Luzon as seen on latest satellite imagery.
