NOTE: For the past 10 years, this is the first time that no tropical cyclone developed over months of May and June over Western Pacific. Based on different models, no tropical cyclone formation expected within the end of June to early of July. The absences of MJO over western Pacific trigger suppressed phase of Convection along western Pacific.
