SYNOPSIS: SOUTHWESTERLY WINDFLOW OVER LUZON AND WESTERN VISAYAS, MONSOON TROUGH (ITCZ) OVER VISAYAS AND MINDANAO.
Southwesterly windflow continues to prevail as a 2 low pressure trough (27N,145E and 35N, 122E) enhanced frontal system that drives more Southwesterly to westerly wind to prevail across SE Asia that brings a couple of scattered early summer monsoon thunderstorm along the country together wind developing monsoon trough over Visayas and Mindanao.
Most of the country expected to have scattered light-very heavy rains/TS most of the day today as convection's leveling to 3-6 continues to build up due to high sea surface temperature and continues effect of low frontal trough influences by the said 2 low pressure trough.
Winds will be at 37kph maximum from S-SW over Luzon and western Visayas becoming 28kph maximum from SE-S over the rest of the country.
