NO TROPICAL DISTURBANCE DEVELOPING AS OF THE MOMENT

SYNOPSIS: FAST MOVING FRONTAL SYSTEM AND ENHANCED SOUTHWESTERLY WINDFLOW OVER LUZON AND WESTERN VISAYAS; WEAK MONSOON TROUGH OVER MINDANAO.

A broad deep low pressure trough over Taiwan embedded over the said Frontal system enhanced moderately SW windflow that produces some convection along Luzon and mostly western Visayas for most of the day today as weak monsoon trough (ITCZ) are affecting Mindanao.
As seen on latest wind analysis and vorticity imagery show a strong vortices along East of Taiwan spreading up to Northern Luzon is the main reason why suddenly SW windflow developed along South China sea. It is more likely to prevail most of the day til next 2 days depending how fast the said frontal system over Philippines.
Rain/Thunderstorm is expected to be light to very heavy over western visayas including the Summer beach Boracay and Western and Nortehrn Luzon. Rain/storm but light in nature is expected over the rest of the country.
Winds will be at 19-28kph from SW over Luzon becoming 19kph SW to changeable over the rest.
