NO TROPICAL DISTURBANCE EXISTING AS OF THE MOMENT

SYNOPSIS: FRONTAL SYSTEM OVER NORTHERN LUZON, FAST APPROACHING EASTERLY WAVE OVER VISAYAS AND MINDANAO.

Frontal system showing some slow weakening as it remain over Northern part of Luzon which expect to have some cloudiness and possible light rain or storm today. High pressure ridge NE of Philippines now extended to much of North Pacific though slowly weakens at 1026mb expected to increase wind shear over the area and will lessen some formation of convection.
Easterly wave also weakens for the past 12hrs however its cloudiness still reaches Bicol region and southern Luzon down to mindanao with possible isolated to scattered light to moderate shower/storm expected over the areas mentioned today.
Winds now decreases to 46kph from NE-E throughout of the country.
