1. THE REMNANT CIRCULATION OF FORMER TROPICAL STORM TOMAS IS LOCATED ABOUT 485 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF BERMUDA. ALTHOUGH ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN UNFAVORABLE FOR REGENERATION INTO A TROPICAL CYCLONE...THIS SYSTEM SHOULD CONTINUE TO PRODUCE A LARGE AREA OF GALE-FORCE WINDS FOR THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...NEAR 0 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES EASTWARD AT ABOUT 10 MPH.
